Common Hot-Dip Galvanized Nail by Tremont Nail - American Made!

Useful for framing, roughing, face-nailing floors and paneling and sculpturing.  Recommended for all exterior applications.  Also available with non-galvanized finish.

When should I use Galvanized nails?   A galvanized nail should be used when you do not want the nail to rust.  All outdoor applications usually require galvanized nails.  If the nail is not galvanized, it will rust if exposed to the elements. However, the 'streaking' effect achieved with ungalvanized nails outside is sometimes preferred to the matte silver color of the galvanized nail.

A HOT-DIPPED GALVANIZED NAIL
A zinc-coated nail, hot-dipped in molten zinc, to resist rusting.  Can usually be clinched. These are not hardened nails.
